Brandon Keith White
Brandon Keith White, 43, died on November 4, 2023, at a local hospital after being found unconscious in his cell at the Floyd County Jail in Rome, Georgia. The Floyd County Sheriff's Office said jail staff attempted lifesaving efforts before he was taken to the hospital. The sheriff's office said the Georgia Bureau of Investigation had been called in to investigate, and no cause of death has been given. His name was not released by the jail at first, pending notification of his next of kin.
