Brandon Joyner
Brandon Joyner, 32, died on February 10, 2023, while held at the Columbia County Detention Center in Appling, Georgia. According to the Columbia County Sheriff's Office, he was found unresponsive in his holding cell around 2 a.m. The sheriff's office said jail staff, EMS and firefighters tried CPR and Narcan, but he could not be revived. The cause of death has not been stated, and an autopsy was expected.
