Brandon Joe McCoy
Brandon Joe McCoy died on October 2, 2026, at the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center in Macon, Georgia, where he was being held. Reports differ on his age, giving it as 27 in some accounts and 37 in others. Bibb County deputies found him unresponsive in his cell early that morning, and he was pronounced dead at the jail. The sheriff's office said the Georgia Bureau of Investigation will perform an autopsy and its internal affairs unit is investigating, and a coroner reported no signs of foul play.
