Brandon Daniel
Brandon Daniel died on October 30, 2021, while held at the Polunsky Unit, a Texas Department of Criminal Justice prison in Livingston, Polk County. According to TDCJ, a correctional officer doing security rounds found him unresponsive on his bunk early that Saturday morning, and he was pronounced dead a short time later. TDCJ said an autopsy would determine the cause of death and that an initial investigation found no sign of foul play. His death is also listed in a Texas Office of the Attorney General custodial death report.
