Brandon Cornett
Brandon Cornett was a father of two young daughters, a University of Tennessee graduate and general manager of American Legacy Signage Company, which he founded. He was held at the Silverdale Detention Center in Hamilton County, Tennessee, and was found unresponsive on April 25, 2022, after about three weeks there. His wife, Cristin Cornett, says in a federal lawsuit that he was denied necessary pain medication for back problems after multiple surgeries and that jail staff did not act on her repeated requests for a wellness check.
