Brandin Piper
Brandin Piper, 30, was held at SCI Somerset, a Pennsylvania state prison, when he died on September 21, 2019. According to the state Department of Corrections, he was found unresponsive in his cell that Saturday morning. The department said staff gave emergency aid until medical personnel arrived, and he was later pronounced dead. The department has said it will investigate, and the cause of death has not been released.
