Brady Schmidt
Brady Schmidt, 28, of Dassel, died on July 21, 2022, while held at the Meeker County Jail. Sources say he was found unresponsive in his cell on a Thursday morning and was taken to Meeker Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The Meeker County Sheriff's Office said there was no evidence of foul play. The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is investigating, and the Midwest Medical Examiner's Office is conducting an autopsy, so the cause and manner of death have not yet been determined.
