Bradley Wayne Stokes
Bradley Wayne Stokes was 39 years old. Shortly after 1:30 a.m. on Sunday, September 17, 2023, he was found unresponsive in his cell at the Russell County Jail in Alabama and died. The county coroner ruled his death a suicide. The sheriff said Bradley had been on suicide watch when he arrived at the jail and was cleared by a psychiatrist about a week before he died, and the Lee County Sheriff's Office was asked to investigate.
