Bobby Deangelo Hawthorne
Bobby Deangelo Hawthorne, 34, died on Sunday, October 4, 2020, at the Mississippi State Penitentiary at Parchman, where he was held in Unit 30. Prison officials said he was found stabbed that afternoon and was pronounced dead at the prison. The Sunflower County Coroner ruled the death a homicide shortly afterward. The Mississippi Department of Corrections, the sheriff's office, the Corrections Investigative Division and the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation are investigating.
