Blas Humberto Gutierrez-Lujan
Blas Humberto Gutierrez-Lujan, 44, collapsed in his cell at the Cibola County Correctional Center, a federal prison in New Mexico, in July 2014. BOP medical monitors attributed his death to cardiac arrest. According to those monitors, the nurse who responded did not stay in the cell to perform CPR, and 26 minutes passed before emergency responders arrived. He died later that day at a local hospital.
