Blair Austin Nelson, 42, of Wenatchee, died at the Chelan County jail's Regional Justice Center on Sunday, November 21, 2021. Jail staff said corrections deputies found her unresponsive in her isolation cell while serving dinner, and she was declared dead at the scene. She had been held in a quarantine cell under COVID-19 isolation procedures, according to the jail. Chelan County Coroner Wayne Harris said the cause and manner of death are pending, and a multi-agency team is reviewing the death.
