Beverly Jean Dubal
Beverly Dubal, 50, was held at the Cass County Jail in Texas on an emergency mental health hold while officials searched for an open bed at a mental hospital. According to a local news report, she was found unresponsive in her cell on a Saturday morning in April 2013 and was airlifted to a hospital in Longview, where she died on life support. The news report said her cause of death was not yet known, and that an autopsy, an internal investigation and a Texas Rangers inquiry were underway. The Texas Attorney General's custodial death report also lists her death at the jail on April 15, 2013.
