Bennie Doyce Skinner was 68 years old. He was taken from William Donaldson Correctional Facility to a Birmingham hospital for treatment of several serious illnesses and died there on February 11, 2026. The Jefferson County Coroner's Office said there was no evidence of trauma or foul play.
