Benjamin Yzaguirre
Benjamin Yzaguirre, 64, died on August 12, 2017, while held at Two Rivers Correctional Institution in Umatilla, Oregon. The Oregon Department of Corrections said he was found unresponsive in his cell on a Saturday evening and was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead about an hour later. The Oregon State Police Criminal Investigation Division is investigating the death, as it does for unanticipated deaths in state prisons. The cause and manner of his death remain pending.
