Benjamin Hopkins
Benjamin Hopkins, 54, died on October 26, 2025, at St. Rita's Medical Center after being found unresponsive during a headcount at the Auglaize County Correctional Center in Wapakoneta, Ohio. A staff member found him shortly after midnight, and EMS took him to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 1:37 a.m. The Auglaize County Sheriff's Office said no foul play is suspected. The cause and manner of death are pending, and the death is being investigated with the Allen County Coroner's Office.
