Benjamin F. Mastel
Benjamin F. Mastel, 35, died on November 30, 2018, while held at the Franklin County Adult Detention Center in Kansas. The Franklin County Sheriff's Office said he was found unresponsive in his one-person cell during a security check on a Friday night. He was taken to Ransom Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The Kansas Bureau of Investigation is investigating his death, and the cause and manner have not been reported.
