Benjamin Conroy
Benjamin Conroy, 35, a former school employee in Portland, Maine, died at the Federal Correctional Institution at Fort Dix in New Jersey, where he had been held since August 2023. According to the institution's press release, he was found unresponsive on a Monday morning in October 2024 and was pronounced dead at a hospital. The Bureau of Prisons said it does not share cause-of-death details for people in its custody, and the Kennebec Journal reported that the cause has not been disclosed.
