Benito Carrasco
Benito Carrasco, 35, of Clayton, died in August 2019 while held at the Martinez Detention Facility in Contra Costa County, California. According to the sheriff's office, a sheriff's deputy and a nurse found him unresponsive in his bed around 11:20 p.m. The sheriff's office said the deputy and nurse gave him medical aid until paramedics arrived, and he was pronounced dead at the scene. The district attorney's office and the sheriff's office are investigating the cause and manner of his death.
