Ben Bryant
Ben Bryant, a 21-year-old Black man, was held in the custody of three deputy sheriffs near Adams Landing, Mississippi, about sixteen miles north of Vicksburg. According to a 1903 wire report, a mob took Ben and another man from the deputies. The mob hanged Ben from an iron bridge near the town.
Cause of death, as reported: Taken from custody and lynched. A brief wire report says a mob took Ben Bryant from three deputy sheriffs and hanged him from an iron bridge near Adams Landing, Mississippi.
