Ben Allman

Ben Allman, a man from Washington County, Ohio, died on April 21, 1930, when fire swept through the locked cells of the Ohio State Penitentiary in Columbus. He was among the people held at the prison who died in the blaze. The fire killed more than 300 people and injured 230 others.
