Barry J. Mullinax
Barry J. Mullinax, 24, was from the Liberty-Easley area of South Carolina. He died on February 26, 2016, while held at the Stephens County Jail in Stephens County, Georgia. Sheriff Randy Shirley said a piece of linen was tied around his neck in his single-person cell. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation said he attempted suicide by hanging, and the district attorney found no evidence of criminal activity and closed the case.
