Barrara

Barrara was held in the jail at Perea, California. According to a dispatch from Denison, Texas, printed in The Times of New Orleans, a band of masked men took Barrara from the jail on Sunday night, January 30, 1881, and hanged them. The same group also hanged another man held in that jail.

Cause of death, as reported: Taken from custody and lynched. A Denison, Texas dispatch published in The Times (New Orleans) says a band of masked men took Barrara from the jail at Perea, California, and hanged him.
