Barbara Jean Lillard, 51, of Jonesville, died on June 6, 2026, while held at the Union County Detention Center in South Carolina. The Union County Coroner's Office identified her and said an autopsy was scheduled, and the State Law Enforcement Division is also investigating. The coroner has not stated a cause or manner of death, which is pending.
