Babubhai Patel

Babubhai Patel, 58, was held by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement at the Atlanta City Detention Center after arriving at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. A medical screening found high blood pressure, and he was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital, where he died on Tuesday, May 16, 2017. According to a report in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the preliminary cause of death was complications due to heart failure. The death was still under preliminary assessment at the time of that report.
