Austin Franks

Austin Franks, 29, died on July 10, 2014, while held at Alexander Correctional Institution in Taylorsville, North Carolina, according to the North Carolina Department of Public Safety. A Hickory Daily Record report published in September 2014 said it was the second death at the prison in about four months. The UCLA Law Behind Bars data project also lists his death at the same prison on the same date.
