August Walley, 38, was held at Central Mississippi Correctional Facility in Rankin County, Mississippi, when she died on July 10, 2017. According to the Mississippi Department of Corrections, she was found unresponsive in her cell on Monday night and pronounced dead at 10:56 p.m. The department said the cause of death will be determined by an autopsy, and the manner of death is pending.
