Ashley Davis, 37, died on September 9, 2022, while held at the St. Louis City Justice Center in St. Louis, Missouri. An autopsy report reviewed by KSDK attributed the death to hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy caused by ventricular fibrillation and a heart attack, in the setting of chronic methamphetamine abuse. The autopsy listed the manner of death as an accident.
