Died in jail or a lockup
Arturo Ramirez
Arturo Ramirez, 54, died at the Monterey County Jail in the early hours of March 3, 2020. The Monterey County Sheriff's Office said he was pronounced dead at about 4 a.m., and Commander John Thornburg said authorities did not suspect foul play. The county coroner is investigating, including toxicology, and the cause of death had not been determined when the Salinas Californian reported on it.
