Antonio Golden
Antonio Golden, 27, died at the Shelby County Jail on the morning of Monday, May 1, 2023. According to the Shelby County Sheriff's Office, officers took him to the jail's medical facility after he had difficulty breathing, and he was then taken to Methodist University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead several hours later. The sheriff's office, which oversees the jail, is investigating the death. As of an August 2023 report, the autopsy was still pending and no cause of death had been determined.
