Anthony Myrie
Anthony Myrie, 24, died at Albany Medical Center after being held at Greene Correctional Facility in New York. The state Department of Corrections and Community Supervision said he was involved in an incident with several other incarcerated people and later died at the hospital. Posts from family and friends say correctional officers took him to solitary confinement on the afternoon of his death and that he was pronounced dead shortly after. The cause and manner of death are pending, and the state investigation is ongoing.
