Anthony Mollman
Anthony Mollman, 46, died on May 17, 2012, after collapsing in his cell at the Grady County Jail in Chickasha, Oklahoma. He was pronounced dead at Grady County Memorial Hospital after 10 p.m., and authorities said he had several lacerations. The Grady County District Attorney and court papers say six people held at the jail have been charged in his death, and that two of them were among the main attackers. His family questions why no one at the jail noticed the attack. The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is examining the death, including the conduct of on-duty staff and jail policies, and the Oklahoma Medical Examiner's office is to perform an autopsy.
Cause of death, as reported: Killed by another person in custody. Prosecutors say fellow inmates attacked and killed him in his cell, and his family also gives that cause.
