Anthony McKnight, 65, was held at San Quentin State Prison in California. According to the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, he was found unresponsive in his cell on the evening of October 17, 2019, and was pronounced dead less than an hour later. The department said his cause of death is pending the results of an autopsy, and it lists the manner of death as pending.
