Anthony David Caruthers, 32, of Bonne Terre, was found dead in his cell at the St. Francois County Jail in Farmington on Thursday, August 5, 2021. Jail staff found him alone in the cell. Sheriff Dan Bullock said there were no obvious signs of foul play and that the cause of death awaits toxicology results. The manner of death has not been determined.
