Anthony Blue
Anthony Blue, 63, was held at Roxbury Correctional Institution in Hagerstown, Maryland, and died there on May 6, 2020. The state corrections department said he died from complications related to COVID-19, and he had been hospitalized in late April after falling ill. His sister, Inez Blue, said he was in severe pain during video chats with her and had come to feel he would never be free. She prepared a room in her home for him and bought a new quilt and curtains in anticipation of his release.
