Anthony Bernard Conyers, 36, died at Goodman Correctional Institution in Columbia, South Carolina, on October 3, 2019. He was found unresponsive in his cell that Thursday morning and was pronounced dead shortly before 5:30 a.m., according to the South Carolina Department of Corrections. The department said it did not suspect foul play. Richland County Coroner Gary Watts said no cause of death had been determined and an autopsy was scheduled.
