Angela Thornton
Angela Thornton, 39, was found unresponsive in her cell at the Clermont County Jail in Batavia, Ohio, in the early morning of February 15, 2024. Jail staff called EMS, and she was pronounced dead at 2:16 a.m., according to the Clermont County Sheriff's Office, which said she was alone and had no visible injuries and that foul play was not suspected. The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation investigated the scene and later completed its work and referred it to the prosecutor in April. Her body was sent to the Hamilton County Coroner's Office for autopsy, and the cause and manner of death were still pending toxicology results in the reports available.
