Angel Vasquez
Angel Vasquez, 31, died on January 14, 2015, while in the custody of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, according to a custodial death report filed with the Texas Office of the Attorney General. Angel was being transported on a state prison bus when the bus went off Interstate 20 near Penwell and collided with a moving train. The National Transportation Safety Board found that the bus lost control after striking a damaged guardrail. KCBD reported that ten people on the bus died in the crash.
