Angel Maturino Resendiz
Angel Maturino Resendiz was a Mexican immigrant. He was executed by lethal injection of pentobarbital at the Huntsville Unit in Texas on June 27, 2005. Telemundo Houston anchor Antonio Hernandez, who witnessed the execution, recalled that Resendiz whispered a prayer asking God for forgiveness before the injection began.
