Angel Garcia
Angel Garcia, 33, died on December 12, 2013, after falling from the fifth floor of cell house C at Stateville Correctional Center in Crest Hill, Illinois, according to the Illinois Department of Corrections. He had returned shortly before from an hour-long visit with his girlfriend. He was taken to Presence St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet, where he was pronounced dead. The department said he was not considered despondent and was not on suicide watch, and it said it was still gathering information about how he died.
