Andrew Thurgood, 26, was stabbed during an altercation with two other people held at High Desert State Prison in Indian Springs, Nevada, on November 12, 2018, according to the Nevada Department of Corrections. The department said staff began lifesaving measures and moved him to the infirmary, where he died of his injuries. The department's Inspector General's Office is investigating, and it says investigators have identified two suspects.
