Andrew Thompson
Andrew Thompson, 35, died on July 27, 2022, while held at Blackwater River Correctional Facility in Milton, Florida, a state prison. The Florida Department of Corrections recorded his manner of death as homicide, and a Florida Department of Law Enforcement case report says another incarcerated man killed him, with officers finding him face down on a bunk with a torn sheet around his neck. According to that report, the other man told officers he committed the killing. Earlier reporting said the cause of death was pending while the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and the Office of Inspector General investigated.
