Andrew Stein
Andrew Stein, 47, died at Ohio State University Medical Center on February 4, 2007, about two weeks after he was assaulted in the medical wing of Pickaway Correctional Institution in Orient, Ohio, where he was held and had been having a pacemaker implanted. His daughter was involved in the decision to withdraw his life support. The Ohio State Highway Patrol said it would send its information to prosecutors and that it had identified another person as a suspect, and prison officials said he was fatally beaten by another prisoner. No name was to be released unless charges were filed.
