Andrew Scott Davis
Andrew Scott Davis was held at the Madison County Jail beginning in March 2021. He developed flu-like symptoms in August 2021 and tested positive for COVID-19 at Huntsville Hospital, where he was placed on a ventilator. He died there on September 3, 2021, and his death has been attributed to COVID-19 complications. After his death, his housing unit was placed on quarantine lockdown and contact tracing began for other people held at the jail.
