Andrew Martinez
Andrew Martinez, 33, was a former UC Berkeley student who in 1992 organized a "Nude-In" protest in the name of free expression, a message that drew wide attention on campus. He died on May 18, 2006, while held in a Santa Clara County jail, where he had been since January. Authorities said he was found unconscious and are investigating his death as an apparent suicide.
