Died in jail or a lockup
Andrea Nicole Sevcech
Andrea Nicole Sevcech, 43, of Dallas, was held at the Polk County Jail in early September 2026, where jail staff were monitoring her for signs of withdrawal. She became unresponsive and was taken to a hospital, where she died. Jail officials first said she had been released from custody while hospitalized, then confirmed that she died at the hospital. The jail says it is reviewing the incident.
