Andre Dominick
Andre Dominick was a former captain with the St. Bernard Parish Sheriff's Office who had survived a near-fatal infection and a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He lost his wife while he was waiting for court dates. He died at the Federal Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky, where he was held, and the Federal Bureau of Prisons listed him as deceased on November 12, 2021, at age 61. The report gave no cause or manner of death. His body was to be returned to St. Bernard Parish for a private funeral.
