Amanda Leigh Snow, 40, was from Gardendale, Alabama. On December 6, 2025, she was found unresponsive in a two-person cell at the Jefferson County Jail, and jail staff pronounced her dead about half an hour later. The coroner's office said there was no evidence of trauma. The cause of her death was pending further laboratory studies.
