Alonzo Muntez Sykes
Alonzo Muntez Sykes was 29 years old and held at Ventress Correctional Facility in Clayton, Alabama. On July 24, 2018, he was found unresponsive in a dormitory room with stab wounds, and he died shortly afterward. The Alabama Department of Corrections said another man held at the prison was suspected and that a weapon had been recovered. No motive was released.
