Alljah Lynch
Alljah Lynch died on May 28, 1894, at the Ohio penitentiary in Columbus, where he was held. According to the Omaha Daily Bee, another prisoner knocked him down inside the prison and cut his throat, and he died shortly afterward. The newspaper reported that the attacker is believed to be insane.
Cause of death, as reported: Killed by another person in custody. Another prisoner, Edward Massey, knocked Alljah Lynch down and cut his throat inside the Ohio penitentiary, according to a newspaper dispatch.
