Allen Leroy Huenefeld, 62, died on July 25, 2025, at the Iowa Medical and Classification Center in Coralville, Iowa, where he was held in state custody. The Iowa Department of Corrections said he was pronounced dead in a hospice room. The department's press release did not state a cause of death.
